If you want to take things one step further, you can make several variations (be sure to label).
- For basic vegetable or bean soups — Carrots, onions, black pepper. garlic.
- For Southwestern flavors — all of that, plus hot peppers.
- For Asian soups – ginger, garlic, onions, and a bit of hot peppers.
- For Chicken Noodle like Mom used to make when you were sick: everything.
