Ever Heard of Stapling Moss to the Garden Path?
Then, I wanted some greenery in between, to soften the look and to smooth out the edges for easier walking. So I brought in bits and pieces of moss that I had dug up from another location. Fitting them snug up against the stones was actually fun, rather like playing with a jigsaw puzzle.
What I didn’t plan very well was how to keep the puzzle pieces in place until they took root. For two straight days I watered them in really well. But then the third day, when I was away from the house all day, it was sunny and everything dried out.
