If you, or anyone you know, think you can’t have a garden because you live in an apartment, I’ve got good news for you. You can grow an amazing amount of delicious, healthy food in just a few containers. All you need is a little sunshine and a bit of space, like a patio, balcony, even the front steps.

This spring, I’m going to be doing free classes explaining all you need to know about container gardening, at public libraries in Oregon and Washington. I talk about the basics – type of container, soil, fertilizer, watering, etc – and then I create a container garden as a demonstration. And here’s the best part: we have a drawing and someone in the audience gets to take the finished garden home.

The first one is in February, at the main library in Tigard, Oregon.

Saturday, February 25, at 2:00 pm.

Lots more to come in March, April, and May. Stay tuned.
